Bashar Barakah Jackson (July 20, 1999 until February 19, 2020) known professionally by the name of Pop Smoke, was an American singer and songwriter. Pop Smoke's fame grew with he worked alongside UK producer of drill 808Melo Axl Beats (UK) and Yoz Beatz (UK). Welcome to the Party, the lead single from the debut mixtape Meet the Woo released in the summer of 2019. was released by him on April 19, 2019. The remixes of the song Welcome to the Party were done in August by American rapper Nicki Minaj as well as British artist Skepta. In April 2019 Pop Smoke released his breakout single Welcome to the Party the first single from the mixtape he released as his debut album, Meet the Woo (2019). This song has been remixed two times that include Nicki Minaj on it and another with Skepta. Both of them were out in August of 2019. The inclusion of UK drilling was used extensively in the song and later across his discography. This is due to his collaborations with British 808Melo producer. Some of his most well-known tracks includes Mpr Flexin as well as Dior. In the wake of the popularity of Welcome to the Party and other singles, such as War together with Lil Tjay & 100k On a Coupe featuring Calboy He began working on songs. Gatti was the collaboration he had in December 2019 with JackBoys, Travis Scott in December 2019, which was the final track on the album.
