Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina Shevchenko, an Kyrgyzstani Muay-Thai fighter from Peru and a mixed martial artist who is competing for UFC. UFC in the Flyweight Division, is an Kyrgyzstani. She is the older sister of her fellow UFC fighter and the former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko, an experienced Muay Thai Kickboxer began her fight sports career at the IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko took the title by unanimously defeating Suzane Miller. Antonina continued her career by winning a silver and bronze medals in 2007 and 2008 respectively, as well as a Gold medal in 2011 and the year-end 2016 IFMA amateur world champion. Antonia, who began her career as a professional at the age of three, was awarded in 2012 and the 2016 World Lion Fight Lightweight Champion. It was also the WMC World Championships also held in 2016 and she was crowned the 2016 IFMA Muay Thai World Champion. Antonina was the last time she fought Isa Tidblad Keskikangas during The Phoenix Fighting Championship. She was victorious by an unanimous vote. Antonina shevchenko won her debut professional MMA fight in 2002 with Anara bayanova at the KFK Cup of Kyrgystan. She was victorious in the second round TKO followed by 2 additional fights at WXF X-Impact World Championships to achieve a record of 3-0. Shevchenko took a break from MMA to concentrate on her kickboxing and came back against Anissa Haddaoui during Phoenix FC 3 in 2017. Shevchenko had the chance to beat Anissa in a unanimous decision and beat Valerie Domergue on Phoenix FC 4 in 2017. In 2018, she resigned from the contest and started participating in Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko battled Jaimelene Nievera on Dana White Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina displayed her striking prowess by TKOing Nievera by knees. In the aftermath of this fight, Antonina received a UFC deal. Antonina Shychenko debuted in the UFC at the Heavy Hitters event of TUF finals, where she faced Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko was victorious in the unanimous victory, however she fell in the second round to Roxanne Modafferi via a split decision. Antonina bounced off the loss, and won Lucie Prudilova at UFC on ESPN Covingtonvs. Lawler who was able to win the fight by back naked choke submission.
